IWSG

My biggest writing worry is...

I will never be done revising. My books will never be good enough, polished enough, exciting enough that people actually want to read them. :(

Short, I know, but I have a busy schedule of a masochist who keeps going back to the thing she both loves and curses.

Good luck to the rest of you!

  1. Just stopping by from the IWSG to say hi :)

Its really weird, but im seeing the same fears today. Everyone seems to be worrying about whether their writing is good enough. its definitely a common fear, even amongst published authors.

you are not alone honey, so never give up trying! :)

  2. Here's a secret for ya . . . WE ALL FEEL THAT WAY!!

Yes, we want our books to be the best we can possibly make them, but there comes a time when we just have to let them go. When we have to allow them to be "good enough". Because if you wait for them to be perfect . . . well, you'll never be done!

You're gonna succeed at this thing, I know it!

  4. Welcome to the IWSG!
I'm a perfectionist so I know how to edit a manuscript to death. At some point, you just have to let it go. That point for me is when I start changing sentences back tot the way they were in the first draft.

  5. Welcome to IWSG. :)) Gosh so many of us writers feel these fears lately. Must be something in the air. :/ Keep your chin up. Have faith in yourself and your writing. Be brave. Be true to your craft. Write from your heart; it shows passion. Just a few tidbits. :)
